After a training session on Saturday, the Footy Club headed out to the deep dark west for a "camp out". It was a great night/morning with about 20 men fighting very freezing conditions and enjoying a few frothies amongst a bit of manly talk. There were no injuries, except for a few sore heads, and a bit of frostbite, and they are now back focused on football. The BFC Cocktail night held on Saturday the 22nd of May, after our York game was a huge success. Many thanks to Chantelle Meade, Ali Lewis and their little helper, Brendan Minchin who organised and prepared the cocktails for the night. We ran out of cocktails pretty quickly and there was still a huge demand, so a double dose is ordered for our next night. On Friday the 23rd of April we hosted our traditional “fish night”, and we’re extremely thankful for the efforts and generosity from our Patron Bob Kempton and his crew for making this another successful event. Each year Bob and his men go fishing down south and bring back a fine collection of aquatic specimen to share with the football club, and help us raise money.
